This page explains the boundaries of responsibility involved in accessing, reading, and using Clash Toolbox. By continuing to use this site, visitors acknowledge that they understand the terms below. The site provides organized client information, download navigation, and configuration guidance; it makes no promises about specific results. Visitors should make their own assessment based on their operating system, client version, and actual network environment, and comply with applicable laws and network service terms in their jurisdiction.
1. Relationship with Open-Source Projects
Clash Toolbox is an independent information site. It is not the official website of Clash, mihomo, Clash Verge Rev, FlClash, or any other related open-source project, nor does it represent their developers, maintainers, or distributors. Project names, client names, software interface terms, and trademarks shown on this site are used solely to identify the relevant software and explain configuration steps. All rights belong to their respective owners.
This site does not publish development plans, compatibility commitments, or technical support conclusions on behalf of project maintainers. Information about software licenses, feature scope, release status, and project rules should be based on the license files, release notes, and maintainer announcements provided by the relevant project. This site summarizes public information to help visitors understand client selection, subscription import, and rule configuration workflows.
2. Download Navigation and Software Risks
The download pages organize client links by operating system and processor architecture. Each client is maintained by its own developers, so release schedules, system requirements, permission requests, and compatibility may differ. Before downloading, visitors should confirm their device’s operating system version, processor architecture, and the software’s maintenance status, and review the license and permission notices shown by the installer.
Installing, updating, uninstalling, or running network tools may change system proxy settings, DNS, routes, network extensions, virtual network adapters, firewall rules, or background processes. Incorrect configuration may cause network interruptions, DNS resolution problems, application connectivity failures, changes in system resource usage, or overwritten settings. Before taking such actions, visitors should back up their existing configuration and understand how to restore it. Visitors are responsible for outcomes resulting from their choice of software, imported configurations, system changes, or executed commands.
3. Guides and Version Changes
Our guides are based on the client versions, operating system interfaces, and common configuration methods available when they were written or revised. After software updates, menu names, button locations, default ports, permission workflows, configuration fields, or core behavior may change. Interfaces may also differ across distribution channels, device manufacturers, and system versions. Screenshots and instructions in these guides should therefore be treated as current reference material, not fixed procedures guaranteed to apply to every version.
We update content when we identify significant changes, but cannot guarantee that every page will match the latest version at all times. If the steps on a page differ from the actual interface, consult the client’s built-in help, release notes, and project documentation first. For basic installation and subscription import, see the User Guide for the complete process; for common errors and mode differences, check the FAQ first.
4. Configuration, Subscriptions, and Network Services
This site does not provide network nodes, subscription services, or access permissions, and is not involved in the sale, renewal, route maintenance, or account management of third-party subscriptions. Subscriptions, proxy groups, rules, TUN, Fake-IP, and DNS mentioned in the guides are included only to explain client features and configuration methods. The relevant service provider is responsible for the availability, speed, stability, data practices, and support policies of any third-party service.
Visitors should not disclose subscription URLs, access tokens, account details, or complete configurations containing sensitive information on public pages, in screenshots, or in feedback. Before importing a configuration from any source, review its proxy servers, DNS settings, scripts, rule sets, and external resource URLs. This site is not responsible for the contents or ongoing availability of third-party configurations, or for connection results caused by them.
5. External Links and Scope of Responsibility
This site may link to software release pages, app stores, project documentation, or other third-party pages. These websites are operated by independent entities, and their content, privacy policies, download practices, service status, and page security measures are outside this site’s control. External pages may move, change, become unavailable, or update their terms after a link is published. An accessible link does not mean that this site endorses or guarantees all content on the linked page.
Before opening an external link, verify the destination domain, page purpose, and action prompts. To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not responsible for direct or indirect losses arising from the use of external websites, third-party software, subscription services, or related materials. If you find outdated instructions or a broken link, check the FAQ for an alternative path first. We will assess revisions based on public information and our page maintenance schedule.
